Went to Venice restaurant in Brisbane before flying back to Sydney, and really enjoyed it – the service was excellent, music was authentic and fun, and as Brisbane is generally quiet the ambience was great, with a good wine list and great food! Ranges from about $25 entree to $38 main meal. I had duck breast with berry strained juice and all the other ingredients went perfectly well with it too. Enjoyed every bite – wasn’t too heavy but filled me up. Had a Sangiovese to go with it. My friend had a crab, avocado, creme fraiche and salad stack, which was really tasty too. So I suggest if you’re ever in Brisbane, check this place out. The arty objects from Venice surround the interior of the restaurant, worth seeing too.
